bang bang
After a light lunch I wandered off to be NSO (non skating official) for the Halloween double header. I was one of the penalty box timers. Thankfully both games were quite clean and I think there were from more cautious on track refs so we weren't inundated. BigA, D and M came to watch and, they tell me, enjoyed it too. After the tidy up I wandered home mostly the full length of mount pleasant road and saw the, few but elaborately decorated houses and was amused to see the different ages of trick or treaters running about. Home to the wise and welcome decision to get a kebab from the newest place around the corner and a bit of booze. E and J popped over and we had a very pleasant evening. D and D swung by the next morning to see M&D before they went back home. It was lovely that they were so local and could stop in for coffee and chats.
