April 2021 - April fools
The highlight of the week was a seder meal at Barbara and Todd's with 15 of us in total. Really lovely to share it with lots of other people. More jews around than we realized.
And then the joy of end of term, I'm so tired and looking forward to a chance of afternoon naps.
It's felt very long and busy but now we have two weeks off. A busy weekend to start with then I'll need to do a fair amount of school work but then we are off for a proper break.
School this week has been good but a few difficult conversations and one member of staff walking out on a meeting. Which was awful but at least meant that the things that have been rumbling along have come to a head.
Easter day tomorrow and I'm making Sunday roast for us and the wagner's. I'm going to see if I can find any lamb today. Doesn't happen often. Plenty of mint in the garden if I do find it.
As you know, A did very well in the end of term competitions and was a star in the pre recorded assembly, her art being showcased and getting a silver award. Mum has the link to the very long assembly. Worth skipping most of it!
BigA survived his lads weekend, it was much tamer than it could have been. Simon goes this week. Going to be strange not having him around.
He's still working hard, no sign of his standing desk yet.
The cat is fine.
Have a great weekend and enjoy breaking your Lenten fasts.
I'm hoping I get a big egg from the Easter bunny!
Love you
